Inventive, hilarious, wonderfully silly - Bill Bailey

...an irresistible full-on assault of gags, farce and in your face attitude - Chortle

The world’s greatest groupie is bringing her very own self titled show An Evening with Eleanor, the Tour Whore to the UK this summer. After a jaw dropping appearance on The Mighty Boosh (Series 3), the woman who claims to make Neil ‘Young’ again and put the ‘Wood’ in Woodstock will take to the stage at Southbank’s E4 Udderbelly on June 18th, 19th, 20th and July 8th with songs, dance and confessional monologues that would make even the most hardened groupie blush. Eleanor the Tour Whore is the comedy creation and alter-ego of the brilliant Rich Fulcher and is co written and directed by Dave Brown, Bollo from The Mighty Boosh.

After storming the 2010 Comedy Festivals in Adelaide and Melbourne, Eleanor’s performances at the Udderbelly on London’s Southbank (her first ever solo shows in the UK) will be followed by an appearance at the Latitude Festival in the Cabaret Arena on Sunday July 18th and a 10 night run at the Udderbelly at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 21st - 30th August at 11.30pm.

Rich shot into the public eye after playing a variety of characters in the stage show of cult classic The Mighty Boosh alongside Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding which won the Perrier Best Newcomer Award in 1998. Over the past decade, he has played the character of Bob Fossil, amongst others, in both the phenomenally successful Boosh BBC television series and the live stage tours.

His other television credits include: Performer and writer on Snuff Box (BBC THREE) alongside Matt Berry, writer and performer in Unnatural Acts (Paramount Comedy Channel) with Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding and Sean Cullen plus six episodes of Modern Problems in Science, also on the Paramount Comedy Channel. He was most recently seen on UK television in the third series of Skins (E4).

His live work has taken him around the globe with performances from London, to Australia, Singapore and beyond. In 2007 he was nominated for a Stella Artois Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival for The Rich Fulcher Show.

Rich’s first book Tiny Acts of Rebellion – 97 Almost Legal Ways to Stick it to the Man was published in October 2009 by Michael O’Mara books and is available at all good bookstores and at www.amazon.co.uk. For more information on the book go to tinyactsofrebellion.com
