Current GHP biography

Glynis Henderson Productions Ltd produces, general manages and represents a variety of theatre, music and dance productions. The company specialises in introducing unique and exciting new work to an international audience and international work to the UK.

GHP is the original co-producer of STOMP with the show’s creators Yes/No Productions and has tour booked and general managed STOMP on tour worldwide (with the exception of North America) for 15 years and has general managed the show in the West End since 2002. STOMP was at The Vaudeville Theatre for five years and transferred to The Ambassadors Theatre in October 2007.

The company has managed ENNIO MARCHETTO for over 16 years. Ennio ‘the living cartoon’ continues to tour worldwide. Ennio played a second Christmas season at the The South Bank in London last December following a tour of the Netherlands and 2 seasons in Cape Town. He has just finished touring Italy and Turkey and Ennio will tour in USA and Europe including a welcome return to Berlin this year.

GHP is the tour booker and general manager for THE SPAGHETTI WESTERN ORCHESTRA. The show premiered in 2007 at The Montreal Jazz Festival, L'Europeen Theatre in Paris, St Pauli Theatre, Hamburg and the Koln Philharmonie and the Athenaeum Theatre, Melbourne. The show played the Highlights Festival in Montreal in February and will open at The Café De La Danse, Paris on 16 September for a four week season prior to a North American tour.

GHP is the worldwide management for SPYMONKEY and GHP co-produced SPYMONKEY’S ‘COOPED’ at the Edinburgh Festival 2006. The show subsequently played the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, The South Bank Centre London and The Espoo Theatre Finland. ‘Cooped’ played The New World Stage Festival at The Harbourfront Centre, Toronto and toured the Netherlands for four weeks in March and April this year.

GHP is also the worldwide management for American comedy actor RICH FULCHER. Rich has played Bob Fossil and other characters in three series of The Mighty Boosh for Baby Cow and BBC TV and Rich also toured the UK with The Mighty Boosh Live. Rich starred in Snuff Box - his own sketch show series which he wrote and performed with fellow comedian Matt Berry. The series of six episodes was commissioned by BBC3 and produced by Charlie Hanson (Extras) for Channel X and directed by Michael Cumming (Brass Eye).
In the autumn of 2007, Rich appeared in two episodes of The Omid Djalili Show (BBC TV) Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC TV) and Golf War on Funny Cuts (E4). In 2008, Rich is starring in the new BBC3 comedy, Trexx and Flipside, as well as filming for Richard Curtis’s next film The Boat That Rocked, and appearing in the second massive The Mighty Boosh Live tour which goes on the road in Autumn 08. The dvd of Rich’s 2006 BBC3 show Snuff Box, co starring Matt Berry, is released on 16th June.

GHP is the UK promoter for Yamato - The Drummers of Japan. The show toured throughout the UK in April 2008. GHP co-produced of The Overcoat (conceived and directed by Morris Panych and Wendy Gorling) with the Canadian Stage Company in Toronto and the Bushnell Center USA. The show has played in London, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, USA and Canada.
