Glynis Henderson Productions Ltd produces, general manages and represents a variety of theatre, comedy and music productions. The company specialises in introducing unique and exciting new work to an international audience and international work to the UK.
GHP is the original co-producer of STOMP with the show's creators Yes/No Productions and has tour booked and general managed STOMP on tour worldwide (with the exception of North America) for over 15 years and has general managed the show in the West End since 2002. STOMP was at The Vaudeville Theatre for five years and transferred to The Ambassadors Theatre in October 2007. The show will celebrate its 20th anniversary and the start of its 10th year in the West End in Autumn 2011.
GHP is the international promoter for PANDEMONIUM (previously known as Lost And Found Orchestra), the new show from the creators of STOMP which premiered at Brighton Festival in 2006 and has since played the Sydney Opera House as part of the Sydney Festival in 2007; Royal Festival Hall, London over Christmas and New Year 08-09 and the Carre Theatre, Amsterdam in February 09. In 2010, GHP co-produced the reworked and rebranded show Pandemonium: The Lost and Found Orchestra, which premiered in Miami as part of a US tour.
The company has managed ENNIO MARCHETTO for over 20 years. Ennio 'the living cartoon' continues to tour worldwide. Ennio has recently toured to Australia, Austria, Finland, France, Holland, Italy, Germany, Mauritius, Portugal, South America and Spain. This year he will be performing in Athens, Cape Town, Madrid, Napa, Pasadena and the New York Musical Festival. Currently we are celebrating the release of Ennio’s new DVD, Ennio Marchetto - The Man and The Show.
GHP is the worldwide management for SPAGHETTI WESTERN ORCHESTRA. The orchestra played the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in August 2011, toured Asia and will return to London for a Christmas season at the Southbank Centre. The show premiered at The Montreal Jazz Festival 2007 and has toured extensively throughout Europe, North America, Asia and they have a 30 date tour of UK and Ireland planned for Spring 2012.
The company is the concert booker and promoter for the unconventional classical pianist JAMES RHODES. In 2009 he was the first-ever classical soloist to perform at the Roundhouse in Camden and since then has played various venues and festivals throught the UK. His album, Bullets and Lullabies, was released by Warner Bros Records in Dec 2010 and went straight to No 1 on iTunes' classical download chart. James was featured in the BBC Four documentary Chopin: The Women Behind the Music and is currently presenting and performing in his very own television series James Rhodes: Piano Man on Sky Arts 2. James has just toured to Australia including the Melbourne Festival and will record his new live album in Brighton this December.
